Becoming Coupon Savvy: Custom Coupons/Store Deals

Many grocery stores offer various incentives to get you to shop at their store.  When you know how to match up coupons with sales and their incentive, you can SAVE LOTS OF MONEY!  So much fun!

Some stores offer what I call "custom coupons".  I call them that because that's what Meijer calls them and I shop at lot at Meijer, so that's the term I regulary use.  :)

Anyways, a "custom coupon" is when you buy a certain amount of a specific product and have a coupon print out when you checkout for money off your next order.

i.e....Buy 2 of 'x' product, Get Custom Coupon for $1 Off Your Next Order

When you have a sale, coupons and a "custom coupon", life is good.  Sometimes you can even make money on these deals.  :)

There are also "store deals" that stores sometimes offer.  You will see this a lot at Target.  Here are some examples....

• Buy 5 of 'x' product, get a $5 gift card
• Buy $10 worth of 'x' product, get $10 your purchase of 'x' products

Keep an eye out for these 2 different types of deals, because they are a great way to save on your groceries.
