My CVS Trip - Details....

Here are the details of my CVS shopping trip I posted a couple days ago.  Here is a link to that post if you want to see it.

I said I would post the details of how I got this deal so here it is!  I split my trip up into 2 separate transactions...

Transaction One:
  • Soft Soap Refills - 3/$9 - Get $3 in ECB's
    • Purchased 3
    • Used 3 - $.50 off coupons
  • Crest Pro-Health Rinse - $3.49 - Get $2.50 in ECB's
    • Purchased 1
    • Used 1 - $1/1 coupon
    • I could have purchased 2, but they only had one left so I asked for a raincheck.
  • Oral B Manual Toothbrush - $2.99 - Get $.99 in ECB's (Limit 2)
    • Purchased 4
    • Used 2 - $2/1 coupons
    • Used 2 - B1G1 FREE coupons
  • Right Guard Body Wash - $3.88 - Get $3 ECB's
    • Purchased 2
    • Used 1 - B1G1 FREE coupon
  • Axe Shower Gel - $3.79 - Buy $15 Worth, Get $5 ECB's (Raincheck I had from the previous week)
    • Purchased 4
    • Used 2 - B1G1 FREE coupons
  • I used a $5/$40 coupon from CVS.
  • I also had $18 in ECB's from previous transactions.
  • TOTAL Out-of-Pocket (OOP) - $.43 plus tax = $3.12
Transaction Two:
  • Proctor & Gamble Products - Buy $30 Worth, Get $10 ECB's
    • Charmin Basic - $5.49
      • Purchased 2
      • Used 2 - $.25 coupons
    • Tide Detergent - $10.99
      • Purchased 1
      • Used 1 - $1/1 coupon
    • Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara - $6
      • Purchased 2
      • Used 1 - $2.50/2 coupon
    • I used $3.50 in ECB's from previous transactions.
    • I was supposed to have received $15.48 in ECB's from my first transaction, but I didn't catch it until later that I didn't get the $5 ECB's from the Axe Body Wash Raincheck.  I will be going back to the store with my receipts to get that.  :)
    • So, I was only able to use $10.48 in additional ECB's.
    • Total Out-of-Pocket (OOP) - $15.99 plus tax = $18.30
  • TOTAL OOP = $21.42!  YEAH!
  • I also received $10 in ECB's from my 2nd transaction.
I would love to hear your success stories!  Please leave a comment below with your stories.

  1. 3 Airwick kits
    2 Electrosol gelpacs
    1 Russell Stover chocolate

    Used:
    (3) $4/1 Airwick q's (printable)
    (2) $.75 Electrosol (printsable)

Paid with an $8.99 ECB from last trip - Total was $.77 and received a $10 ECB and $0.74 back - so made money on this trip.
