Store Coupon Policies - Target Policies

I know Target is a popular store and many of us love to shop there.  I have heard some say that they try to avoid it because they can be expensive.  That may be true, unless you understand their coupon policies and how to use those to your advantage.  For their full coupon policy, click here.  You can get some great deals at Target and here is a list of their policies:
  • They accept Manufacturer Coupons as well as Target store coupons ("stacking" coupons).
    • 2 websites to find Target store coupons
    • www.target.com/coupons
      • Be aware that they have both Manufacturer and Target store coupons on their website.  You won't know which is which until you print the coupons.  Be sure to read the coupon so you know for sure how you can use it.
    • Target Mobile Coupons
  • Target will not accept internet coupons for FREE items with no purchase requirements........BUMMER!
    • Target often runs Gift Card specials....Buy 2 _____, get a $5 Gift Card.
    • When you can stack coupons on an item that is also on a Gift Card special, you can get some great deals and save a lot of money!
Buy One Get One (BOGO) policies:
    • BOGO coupons cannot be combined. (You can't use 2 BOGO coupons to get both items FREE)
    • A second cents-off coupon of the same type cannot be redeemed towards the purchase price of the first item
      • If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon may be used on the first item.
      •  If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item
